Chapter 234: Chapter 234 - Fools

Sophia’s POV

| was staring at them through the glass, wishing that | could just snap my fingers and kill them all.

Especially my mother. She was the one who created this room. | could feel her magic in here. | could feel it

against my skin and it was drivingcrazy.

No matter how hard | tried, | couldn't use my magic in here. The spell was blocking it and drivinginsane. |

could still feel my own magic, but it was too far away and | couldn't reach it. | couldn't find the source of it. It was

like trying to find a needle in a haystack. | knew it was there, but | had no idea where to look. | had no idea

where to even start.

But | would find it. | would find it and destroy this room, their pack, and their entire lives.

| would get my revenge. They were fools if they thought that they could just lockup in here.

| kept my eyes on the man who was supposed to be my mate. | felt his fear and it disgusted me. How was | ever

in love with him? He was pathetic.

But his fear did amazing things to my body and my magic. That magical spark insideintensified. His fear felt

like fuel for my magic.

Their fear could be my ticket away from here. | could feed off of it. | could fuel up my magic and blow this place

up.

| smirked, making the man gulp. His jaw tightened and he looked at my mother.

“The spell works,” my mother’s brother mumbled, makinglook at him.

“Not for long,” | chuckled darkly.

| approached the stupid window and smirked.

“I can still feel my magic,” | said, keeping my eyes on my supposed mate. “It is only a matter of tbefore |

find a way out of here.”

| saw sadness in Hunter's eyes, but it didn’t satisfy me. | didn’t want his sadness. | wanted his fear. His sadness

didn’t feed me, but his fear did.

“And when I do, | will make you regret puttingin here,” | continued, narrowing my eyes a little. “When | do, |

will make you all suffer.”

Hunter's jaw tightened. He gulped and | felt that delicious fear rolling off his body again. | reveled in it. It tasted

like power.

And | got an idea of how to intensify it.

“I thought about killing you all,” | said, keeping my eyes on his. “But maybe | will just destroy your packs and

disappear. Maybe | will let you live knowing that you will never seeagain. Would that be more painful,

Hunter?”

His eyes widened. The fear he felt intensified, but it was now mixed with pain.

| smirked and looked at my mother. Her brother was holding her. She had tears running down her cheeks.

“Would that be more painful, mother?” | asked, enjoying the fear rolling off her body as well.

| felt a little bit of my magic on my fingertips.

| smirked and used it to shake the glass that was separating us for now.

Their eyes widened and the terrified looks on their faces almost madejump with happiness.

“Stop it!” someone screamed as they approached the room.

| looked to my left and saw Anna rushing toward us. She had a pissed-off look on her face and it madesmile

brightly.

My brother and my cousin were right behind her. Both of them looked angry and worried.

“Hello, Anna,” | said, grinning widely. “You are just in tto see my magic coming back to me.”

“Don’t show it your fear,” Anna said, ignoringcompletely. “It is feeding off our fears.”

It?

| clenched my fists and tightened my jaw. | would kill her as soon as | got out of this damn room. How the fuck

did she know that | was feeding off their fear?!

Anna approached the window and narrowed her eyes at me.

“You are not leaving this room, demon,” she said coldly. “You will stay in here until you give us Sophia’s body

back. You will stay locked up in here until you leave that girl alone and give her back to her family.”

Did she really think that | wasn’t Sophia? Did she really think that | was ssort of a demon possessing

Sophia's body?

| laughed and shook my head.

“There is nothing to give back, Anna,” | said, smirking at her. “I am not a demon. | am Sophia. A new and

improved version of Sophia.”

I glanced at my family. | could tell that they were trying so hard to suppress their fear, but it wasn’t working. |

could still feel it and it was givingthe power | needed.

“You are not Sophia,” Anna said stubbornly. “Our Sophia is locked inside her own body. You pushed her away. You

took over her body and you are using it for your twisted games.”

I smiled.

“It is sad, you know?” | said as | looked at my brother. “It is sad how badly you want to believe that you can get

the old Sophia back.”

My brother clenched his fists. | couldn't feel his fear, only anger. It annoyed me. | wanted him to be afraid. |

needed their fear.

| narrowed my eyes and smirked a little. | realized that agreeing with Anna may be just what | needed to make

them so afraid that | would get the power | needed.

“You are right about one thing, thought,” | said, keeping my eyes on my brother. “I did replace the old Sophia.

She is dead. | killed her. | listened to her scream and beg and | killed her. She is gone and you will never get her

back.”

The emotion that my words caused wasn’t what | hoped it would be.

My words didn’t cause fear. They caused pain and anger.

| watched my brother's jaw twitch. | watch him narrow his eyes at me.

“You are lying,” Anna said, makinglook back at her. “Do you want to know how | know?”

| remained silent. | wasn’t lying. The old Sophia was gone.

“I know because Stella is still inside you,” Anna continued, smirking at me. “Sophia’s wolf is still alive which

means that our Sophia is somewhere inside you as well. You won't win, demon. We will get them both back.”

I saw red.

| slammed my fists against the glass, making Anna’s smirk grow.

| cut my connection with Stella. She wasn’t insideanymore.

It was impossible.
