Could it be that Lycan Erasmus was trying to create discord between her and Lance by appointing her as
commander?
But Adelaide pushed the thought aside. There was no point in worrying about something that hadn't happened
yet.
As her mentor Irene once said, “When you get to the mountain, you'll find a way. When the boat reaches the
bridge, it'll cross naturally.” If conflicts arose, they could be resolved through communication.

understand.”
Fabian sighed inwardly. What a smart and practical young girl.
She could have asked more questions but held back, aware of her delicate position.
Yet, did she truly grasp the deeper implications?
With clear eyes, Adelaide added, “Don’t worry, Fabian. I'll balance my duties and my relationship with Lance. |
won't let other matters cbetween us.”
Hearing this, Fabian felt relieved. She truly understood it all.
He stood up. “I can’t say more. Just relay today’s conversation to Alpha Lance.”
“Of course. Thank you,” Adelaide promised.
Fabian nodded gently. “Then my task is done. I'll take my leave.”
“Ill see you out.”
Adelaide accompanied Fabian out of the lounge.

The Royal Guard was already waiting outside, having been arranged by Caldwell during the family reunion.
Madison’s manor was in chaos.
All the managers, including Madison, were taken away. The servants were temporarily housed within the manor,
guarded by the Ministry of Justice.
After the Capital Guard and Royal Patrol withdrew, the case was handed over to the Ministry of Justice.
Deputy Minister Dennis and his team were helping the rescued women. They were allowed to inform their
families and told that once the case was settled, funds from the manor’s assets would be used to compensate
them and the servants.
Aireanna, whose hwas in the capital, was permitted to return home, escorted by Ramona.
Ramona was still in shock. She hadn't expected the operation to happen today.
Ramona had been certain the operation was set for October 15th, but Adelaide had kept the exact date from her.
This made Ramona somewhat angry. She felt Adelaide didn’t trust her.
After all, she had disclosed everything to Adelaide and even brought her father, Hunt, in to assist.
Yet, Adelaide still withheld key details of the plan.
On the ride home, Aireanna revealed, “Your father never intended to truly cooperate with Luna Adelaide. He
even told Madison about your original plan for October 15th. If they hadn't changed the date, the operation
would have failed.”
Ramona was stunned. “Did he betray me? Doesn't he know that could have killed
me?”
Tears streamed down Aireanna’s face as she leaned on her daughter. “To him, you're just a tool, no different than
Madison.”
