Chapter 485
Alice felt nothing was holding her back now that Yolanda had been cut off from the Hendersons. If these workers
would follow her orders, she would have them beat Yolanda till she begged for mercy on her knees.
"It's clearly her fault for hitting Sharon's car. Not only did she refuse to pay or apologize, but she even slapped
Sharon. Does she think everyone has to coddle her?"
Alice paused when she heard that Brenda was the one who rear-ended someone else's car. But she quickly found
a new angle.
"Even if she did crash into someone's car, we're all family here. Can't we resolve this peacefully? You're just
bitter about being kicked out of the Henderson family and taking it out on others. Have you no shame?"
"Yolanda, stop this nonsense." Right then, Joe cleared his throat and told Yolanda, "You're the one who chose to

about you slapping her."
"You'll forget about it?" Yolanda sneered. "But | won't!"
As expected, Joe was just trying to make things even again. He had not changed at all. Whenever faced with
trouble, his only solution was to sweep it under the
rug.
"According to traffic laws, the rear-ending driver is always at fault. You can bail her out at the police station."
Yolanda had been curious to see these powerful figures Brenda kept boasting about. But seeing Diana and the
others had killed any interest she had.
"Yolanda, you just want to turn this family upside down, don't you?!" Diana, who had been quiet until now,
shouted. "Even if Brenda hit your friend's car, you've gotten your revenge. Can't we call it even?"
The mention of the police made Diana nervous. No matter how much they looked down on Yolanda, she had
powerful backing now. Whatever Gavin might do with her later, going against her now would bring them no
benefit.
"Call it even?" Yolanda pondered briefly before saying, "Fine. Tell her to kneel and apologize, then pay my friend
5000 dollars for car repairs." Though Yolanda knew Sharon did not care about the repair money, she wouldn't let
Brenda off without paying something.
"Yolanda, don't push it!" Making Brenda pay was one thing, but demanding she kneel was too much.
"Apologize? Never! I'll never apologize to trash like you, not in this lifetime!" Brenda still had not grasped the
situation. She thought that she was untouchable since Yolanda was Diana's daughter. Parents would surely
discipline their children, wouldn't they?
"Then we'll see you at the police station." Yolanda dialed a number.
"Yolanda!" Diana exploded. She was furious that Yolanda remained aggressive even after her attempt at
compromise. "You may not be a Henderson anymore, but we raised you for seventeen years. Have you forgotten
that? You're an ungrateful wretch!"
"Have I?" After speaking with someone on the phone, Yolanda set her phone aside. "Since you want to settle
accounts today, let's do that!"
"When you 'raised' me, you sent Yvonne to tutoring, bought her designer clothes, and funded her talents while

bank loan for Henderson Group and got you the Savage Group project. | also got you out of police custody!?"
"Nobody forced you to do any of that. Why are you bragging now?" Alice muttered. "You think you're so
important, don't you?"
"Yolanda, you're my daughter. Wasn't it your duty to help the family?"
