Jesse stayed quiet for a moment, eyes still on the book. Then he asked, “Uncle Alan, can Nina cwith you

Alan raised an eyebrow. “Not worried she won't want to cback?”
Jesse didn’t even hesitate. “She will.”
That afternoon, Nina stuck to Jerlike glue. They played with toys, and sometimes, she even pretended not to

carefree dad.” He let out a small sigh. “Once she gets older, her standards will probably get even higher.”
Picky about everything—Ilooks, voice, hands, eyes, even eyelashes. It was totally possible.
What Jesse really should've been worried about wasn’t Nina chasing boys—it was whether she'd ever find
someone who met all those ridiculous standards.
Jesse blinked, caught off guard for a second... then realized, yeah—Jesse kind of had a point.
