Chapter 1362

Ms. Ashley found the manager's behavior today downright peculiar. She couldn't quite put her finger on why he

was acting so strangely, though.

"No wonder they call it the Golden Hotel. This place is way too flashy. This isn't just a private room; it's basically

an arcade," someone marveled, as it was their first visit to the Golden Hotel, and they were genuinely blown

away by the extravagance. Here, they could let loose and have fun; if it was for entertainment, it was right there

at their fingertips.

"But these dishes... they're insanely pricey, nearly hitting five figures each," someone else chimed in. "This meal

could definitely send an average person into bankruptcy."

The group from class nine almost fainted when they saw the menu prices. Ms. Ashley reassured them to relax

and order whatever they fancied, as she, being the elder, would cover the bill today.

Louise, visiting the top-floor suite for the first time, felt a flutter of excitement, though she kept it under wraps.

She looked at the class nine folks, who seemed like fish out of water, with a slight sneer in her eyes.

Her gaze settled on Abby, who was lounging back in her chair, looking completely unfazed and a bit bored, not a

hint of emotion in her eyes.

"I heard Ms. Fiona is an orphan who just transferred from the countryside. Most of the menu is in English; can Ms.

Fiona even read it?" she offered with a forced grin, "I can help Ms. Fiona order."

Fiona looked up at her, giving Louise a calm look that seemed to cut through all her petty games.

She seemed to have a knack for drawing envy, having just arrived in Cedarvale and already being a target of

jealousy.

Ms. Ashley, Nash, and the others from class nine weren't too fond of Louise's patronizing tone either.

"We'll take care of whatever Flora wants to eat, no need for your input, Louise," Robert said coolly.

"Fiona, just tellwhat you want, and I'll sort it out for you," Ms. Ashley said, her eyes brimming with warmth.

"Mom, she should call you Aunt, calling you sister is all wrong," Nash couldn't help but interject, hearing her

repeatedly refer to herself as sister.

"What do you know, just focus on your meal," Ms. Ashley shot him a glance. Calling her Aunt was indeed the

correct term.

Right then, the manager walked in with a big bottle of milk, having just overheard Louise's comment.

His eyes narrowed. Was this girl suggesting their young miss was a mere country bumpkin? How absurd!

That was just their young miss keeping a low profile!

A flicker of amusement passed through the manager's eyes. The young miss had been cherished by them since

she was little. If she wasn't bothered, they certainly were.

en

They wouldn't let anyone mess with her!

The manager quickly took out his phone to make a call.

"I was just looking out for Ms. Fiona," Louise said, noticing everyone rallying around Fiona, her expression

darkening a bit, but she kept up her smile, "The countryside probably doesn't have the best educational

facilities, and Spanish might be a struggle..."

"Garlic shrimp with the shell split

open," Fiona interrupted, casually et

naming a few dishes with such flawless pronunciation that it almost sounded regal.

Louise's words got stuck in her throat as she stared at Fiona in disbelief.

This girl, who cfrom the countryside, a wild tomboy, was actually this good at Spanish! Her pronunciation

was spot-on! Better than hers... even more impressive.

"Wow, Flora, you're incredible!" Robert exclaimed, looking amazed. "What were you just saying? | didn't catch a

word!"
