"I've got it," Anthea said, lifting her gaze from the notebook she was scribbling in, and headed towards the door.

She made her way to open it and was greeted by the sight of Director Clement and Abbey standing beside him.

Anthea expressed her surprise, "Director Clement, Dr. Abbey!"

"Ms. Yeager, do you have a moment?" asked Director Clement.

Anthea nodded slightly, "Sure, con in."

Little White, ever so observant, went to fetch srefreshments for the guests.

Anthea led Director Clement and Abbey into the living room, "I apologize for the simplicity of my home. Please,

make yourselves comfortable." Director Clement took a moment to look around the living room.

It was indeed modestly decorated.

To think that a renowned healer and top scholar from Cloudcrest would choose to live in such simplicity!

What an embodiment of humility and detachment from worldly desires.

Given the Yeager family's current financial standing, moving into a mansion and hiring a team of servants would

have been no issue at all!

Anthea then asked, "Director Clement, Dr. Abbey, what brings you here today?"

Standing up, Director Clement said, "Ms. Yeager, your discovery of the YKA Solution has been a blessing for

humanity! Dr. Abbey and | are here on behalf of the medical community and cancer patients nationwide to

express our gratitude." At this, Director Clement and Abbey bowed to Anthea.

"There's no need for that," Anthea quickly stood up as well.

Director Clement continued, "Several experts from the medical field wanted to join us but knowing your

preference for privacy, they've entrusted us with delivering your award and a token of their appreciation."

Abbey promptly presented a beautifully crafted gift box.

Inside was a trophy and an envelope containing a check.

The cure for cancer had caused a worldwide sensation!

It was a monumental contribution to humanity, and thus, the international medical community had awarded

Anthea with the highest honor.

They had even considered hosting a major ceremony in her honor.

But knowing Anthea's preference for staying out of the spotlight, they opted to deliver the trophy and prize

money directly to her.

Anthea accepted the items from Abbey with both hands, "Thank you."

"It's us who should be thanking you," Abbey replied with a smile.

Director Clement then presented another check, "Ms. Yeager, this is a small gesture from our hospital. You have

elevated us! Please accept it." Anthea had propelled Crescent Moon Medical Center to new heights!

Now, people nationwide and even globally recognized Crescent Moon Medical Center!

The center had transitioned from a secondary hospital to the highest-ranking category possible! And all of this

was thanks to Anthea.

Without her, their hospital wouldn't be where it is today.

They were even considering erecting a bronze statue of Dr. Yeager at the hospital's entrance!

Anthea declined Director Clement's check, "Director Clement, | appreciate the gesture, but | cannot accept this

money."

"Ms. Yeager, you've earned this," insisted Director Clement.

Pointing to the trophy and prize money on the table, Anthea said, "Those are my rightful earnings. Greed knows

no bounds, and | genuinely cannot accept more."

Director Clement, undeterred, placed

the check on the coffee table, "Ms. Yeager this is the least our hospital can do for you. Please accept it, or Dr.

Abbey and | will have no choice but to stay right here!"

Seeing no way out, Anthea said, "Well then, Director Clement, please donate this on my behalf to those in need

at the hospital."

Despite Luxphinia's status as a developed nation, many still face financial ruin due to medical expenses.

Director Clement, witnessing daily

the individuals forced to abandon treatment due to costs, replied, "Then, on behalf of the patients and their

families, | thank you, Ms. Yeager."

"It's nothing."

Leaving the Yeager household, Director Clement couldn't help but remark, "Dr. Abbey, Ms. Yeager truly is a

remarkable woman!"

Abbey nodded in agreement, "Indeed she is!"
