Chapter 480

Winnie leaned closer to Yolanda in the back seat and whispered. Though she did not know much about luxury

cars, she could tell this was not a cheap car. "But | guess it makes sense. Mr. Fuel gave you a multi-million dollar

mansion as a gift, after all, so this is nothing to him."

Winnie looked at Yolanda with admiration. "You're really something else, Yolanda! There aren't many people our

age who can own mansions and luxury cars through their own efforts.

"Maybe | could work for you when you start your company! I've been stressing about finding a new job lately and

sending out resumes all week..."

"Are you looking to switch jobs?" Yolanda asked.

"Yeah, | don't feel that there's much room for growth in my current job, and my boss' attitude is unbearable."

Winnie forced a smile. "But don't worry about me. | might not be landing any positions in top companies in

Hestia, but plenty of local Riverdale companies have invitedfor interviews."

Quickly changing the subject, she asked, "By the way, how did your mom's situation get resolved?"

She had heard Diana had been released but did not know the details of how the charges were dropped.

"| treated Mrs. Seinfield Senior..." Yolanda began explaining the situation to Winnie again. Meanwhile, their hired

driver was pulling out of the parking lot.

Julie stood at the airport exit with her luggage while waiting for her hotel pickup. Right then, a Maybach caught

her attention.

"Wow, | didn't expect to see a Maybach in a small city like Riverdale!" she muttered to herself. But her jaw

dropped when she spotted Winnie and her cousin in the back seat.

As they drove back to the city, Yolanda's phone rang.

"Yolanda, do you have a minute?" It was Sharon, who sounded distressed and alarmed.

"| just got back from the airport. I'm driving into the city now."

"Could you cby? I got involved in a car crash. Everyone's fine, and the car's okay, but it's kind of difficult to

deal with this..."

"Sendyour location. | can be there in thirty minutes." After checking their position, Yolanda figured she would

have the driver drop Winnie off before taking her car back to the villa.

"Sure, no rush." Sharon was noticeably relieved to hear Yolanda was coming. "Everything okay?" Winnie asked

after noticing Yolanda's concerned tone.

"A friend of mine is having strouble. | need to go help."

"You can stop the car at the junction ahead. I'll grab a cab then."

"It's fine." Yolanda had the driver pull over and gave him instructions. "He'll take you home. I'll catch a cab."

"But-" Before Winnie could protest, Yolanda was already out the door and hailing a cab.

With clear traffic, it only took twenty minutes to reach Sharon. But the scene was worse than Sharon had

described. Even though both the car and people were unharmed, Yolanda found a short-haired woman screaming

in Sharon's face.

There was even a handprint on Sharon's cheek.
